Nutritics unlocks nutrition system features to help in the battle against COVID-19

Since 2013, Dublin-based Nutritics has quickly grown to be the nutrition management software for clients in more than 165 countries, providing solutions and nutrition information to thousands of clients in a wide range of industries. The company caters to multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, food service, food manufacturing, and elite sport. The Nutritics system helps equip clients with fast, accurate, easy-to-use tools for dietary analysis, meal planning and recipe and menu management, allowing food, nutrition, and health professionals to make accurate, relevant, and actionable food choices for their clients.

As a way to assist customers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Nutritics has developed a digital food ordering system that manages click & collect, delivery, in-restaurant, and in-queue ordering. The system has been specifically designed to meet the needs of food business operators who are faced with new challenges around maintaining revenue in a world of social distancing. To help the industry get back up and running, this system is being offered on a complimentary basis.

“Staying connected safely is important for organizations as we all adapt to new working arrangements to slow the spread of COVID-19,” said Stephen Nolan, COO. “One of our core principles is to connect people through technology, and recently, we announced that our most valued connection modules are being released free of charge to all existing clients as well as new sign-ups. This is a significant investment, with no catches — we want to do what we can to support our clients, communities, and employees.”

Nolan explained that Nutritics has also added additional complimentary onboarding, support, and regulatory advisory consultations to their website and these services can be booked at any time. They have also added additional online training resources to help everyone get the most from the Nutritics system.

“We are paying close attention to what health authorities are recommending, and we act accordingly,” said Nolan. “Like many companies right now, our staff has the necessary technology to work securely from multiple locations, including their homes, and we are functioning normally, providing full uninterrupted services to all clients.”

Features now available for all clients

The Collaborators tool is now enabled on all accounts. This allows users to share recipes, client details, and meal plans securely within the software to other trusted users.

To help healthcare, education, and sports clients stay connected with their team and clients, Nutritics has enabled the Programs feature on all accounts. This allows users to deliver custom content to their clients via the Libro app and monitor progress in real-time.

For food industry clients, many are considering options for providing their offering beyond their primary location. In these instances, food labeling will become an urgent requirement, and Nutritics has added the Food Label Maker feature to all accounts to assist with this process.

Social distancing benefits of the Nutritics system include:

  • Increases click & collect and delivery revenue when restaurant capacity is restricted
  • Allows contactless ordering and pickup that supports social distancing
  • Shortens queue times with mobile ordering as the customer waits
  • Integrates seamlessly with websites and social media
  • Enables in-restaurant ordering via mobile or tablet that protects staff and minimizes direct contact
  • Facilitates removal of paper menus, reducing both cost and contamination risk
  • Real-time updated of all menu changes
