Meditec Medical Signs with Boston Children’s Hospital

At the Enterprise Ireland Med in Ireland 2017 conference, Meditec Medical announced that it has successfully won a significant contract with the Boston Children’s Hospital to manufacture and supply their Mediflex pressure relief mattresses to its entire hospital network. The contract includes ongoing technical support. The Mediflex mattress system will assist Boston Children’s Hospital in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in patients.

Boston Children’s Hospital is ranked nationally in 10 pediatric specialties. Boston Children’s Hospital is a 415-bed children’s general facility with 15,817 admissions in the most recent year reported. It performed 6,769 annual inpatients and 20,212 outpatient surgeries. Its emergency room had 59,191 visits. Boston Children’s Hospital is a teaching hospital.
