The Irish Agri Innovation Showcase, taking place virtually September 14th-16th out of Dublin, will be a unique opportunity for attendees to hear from speakers such as David Butler and Frank O’Mara. As well as learn about new innovative products showcased from 10 Irish Agri companies. The companies will highlight products in various areas including:
- Cultivation and seeding
- Milking systems
- Slurry solutions
- Fodder and more
The Innovation Arena Awards, consisting of 12 awards in total, will be presented at the showcase to companies that are improving agriculture efficiencies and leading the way in the future of farming.
Day 1 of the showcase, attendees will hear from keynote speaker, Frank O’Mara, the newly-appointed director of Teagasc; the leading organization in the fields of agriculture and food research in Ireland. Previously, Prof. O’Mara served as a Teagasc Director of Research. Prof. O’Mara currently also holds the title of president of the EU Animal Task Force (ATF); which is a European public-private partnership concerned with the role of sustainable and competitive livestock production within the food system.
Day 1 will also highlight the following 5 companies:

Day 2, the winners of the 2021 Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena Awards will be announced. Attendees will hear from them as they discuss the future of agri-innovation. This year’s awards will focus specifically on innovation for a green future in agriculture, which includes lowering carbon emissions, improving efficiencies & sustainable agriculture.

On the final day of the showcase, attendees will hear from keynote speaker David Butler, Head of Sustainable Food Systems Ireland (SFSI), a consortium of the largest agri-food organizations of the Irish Government. Before he ran SFSI, David managed the food investment promotion program of Enterprise Ireland.
