Products and services

Exertis SCS specialises in vendor consolidation and the management of long tail supply chain parts, raw materials and consumables. We work with client companies to reduce supply chain cost and complexity and increase manufacturers’ working capital.

Exertis SCS manages the part of the supply chain that typically represents 80% of a company’s suppliers yet only accounts for 20% of its spend.

Exertis SCS works with companies of all sizes and industries and has operations across Europe, the US and Asia. Today, Exertis SCS manages thousands of suppliers and hundreds of thousands of material items on behalf of its clients. We manage over £200 million worth of supply chain materials on an annual basis for its clients.

Cost Reduction:
We reduce our clients’ costs by sourcing the best value materials; minimising inventories, expedites and product line shortages; and removing the indirect costs associated with materials unavailability.

Capital Optimisation:
Alongside this, we also optimise capital by accurately planning our client’s production capacity and matching materials supply with demand, ensuring they hold just the right amount of inventory at the right locations. Our unique ‘pay on consumption’ financing model also means that our clients only invoice us for stock once it has been shipped and paid for by their end customer, preserving
their cash-flow for the longest possible time.

Compelxity Management:
Through vendor consolidation, we take complexity out of
our clients’ supply chains, managing their supplier networks from materials sourcing, procurement and materials management through to customer fulfilment.
