Business description

ATD emolda manufactures a range of components and sub-assemblies for the medical device industry. ATD emolda has recently launched the Abderma® range of products - a hydrophilic Wound Care Foam, antimicrobial foam, a low trauma removal foam, a breathable PU adhesive, silicone gel adhesive and a Foam incorporating a high Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR) film.

Products and services

Our hydrophilic, aliphatic PU foam is non yellowing and has an exceptional absorption rate and fluid handling properties. This foam material can be combined seamlessly with a range of breathable films without an adhesive tie layer to ensure excellent breathability is maintained. We can also incorporate a range of antimicrobial agents into the foam - including PHMB and silver.

The Abderma foam range now includes a low trauma skin contact range. The force required to remove this dressing material from skin has been reduced significantly and is a truly new concept in the area of Advanced Wound Care.

Our range of PU and silicone gel adhesives offers exceptional low trauma removal while providing excellent skin adhesion - with PU adhesive this tack can be amended to suit the application. The PU adhesive is sterilisable by EtO and gamma radiation and is exceptionally breathable and functionalisable.
